Investments to adapt to climate change
Investments are federal outlays that can be used to fund or incentivize resilient management or infrastructure (green or grey). This includes some of the country’s largest hazard prevention programs, such as FEMA, as well as the application of a climate lens on all expenditures to ensure federal dollars are being spent in a durable manner that will not be undermined by the projected impacts of climate change.
